A Postal Employee 'Jayakumar' of Chennai North
Division has reportedly committed suicide in his hostel
room yesterday evening in Madurai Postal Training
Centre. It is very heart saddening that an employee who
is above 50 years old looses heart over something that
he cannot bravely face. Let us hope the Police
investigations bring out the real cause of his decision to
end his life. Whatever be the cause, the environment in
the Madurai PTC is not to the liking of officials. The
repeated mental tortures undergone by trainees in
general and the in service trainees in particular while
spending their time inside the campus of training centre
is a sorrowful story narrated by many. The death of a
trainee is a shocking cap to the stories of Madurai PTC.
